About the Kansas Assessment Program (KAP)
Each year, Kansas administers the Kansas Assessment Program (KAP) to assess student achievement in math. This statewide assessment, given March–May, is aligned to the Kansas Mathematics Standards (KS Standards).
The KAP challenges grade 3 math students with questions on multiplication & division, place value & computation, fractions, time, mass & volume, and other key areas. Formats range from multiple-choice items to extended-response and performance tasks.
Our practice tests are designed to match the format, difficulty, and content of the real KAP, so students know exactly what to expect on test day.
