About the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP)
The Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) serves as Maryland’s official measurement of math skills for elementary students. Conducted April–May, it tests the standards set out in the Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards: Mathematics (MD CCRS).
For the grade 3 math portion, the MCAP includes questions on multiplication & division, place value & computation, fractions, time, mass & volume, plus additional topics. Expect multiple-choice, short-answer, and performance-based question types.
By closely mirroring the MCAP in format and content, our practice tests give students the confidence they need to succeed.
