About the Oregon Statewide Assessment System (OSAS)
Each year, Oregon administers the Oregon Statewide Assessment System (OSAS) to assess student achievement in math. This statewide assessment, given March–June, is aligned to the Oregon Mathematics Standards (OR Standards).
At the grade 3 math level, the OSAS tests a full range of skills including multiplication & division, place value & computation, fractions, time, mass & volume. Assessment formats include multiple-choice, open-ended, and performance-based questions.
Each practice test is modeled after the actual OSAS — same topics, same types of questions, and the same level of challenge.
