About the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA)

The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) is administered to Pennsylvania students April–May. It is the state’s primary measure of math achievement, aligned to the Pennsylvania Core Standards: Mathematics (PA Core).

For the grade 3 math portion, the PSSA includes questions on multiplication & division, place value & computation, fractions, time, mass & volume, plus additional topics. Expect multiple-choice, short-answer, and performance-based question types.

We designed our practice exams to closely replicate the PSSA experience — same format, similar difficulty, and matching content coverage.
