About the Readiness Improvement Success Empowerment (RISE)
Every year during March–May, Utah students sit for the Readiness Improvement Success Empowerment (RISE) — a comprehensive math assessment aligned to the Utah Core Standards for Mathematics (UT Core).
At the grade 3 math level, the RISE tests a full range of skills including multiplication & division, place value & computation, fractions, time, mass & volume. Assessment formats include multiple-choice, open-ended, and performance-based questions.
When your child takes our practice tests, they’ll experience the RISE format firsthand — building familiarity and reducing test-day anxiety.
