About the Connecticut Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC)

Connecticut students take the Connecticut Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC) as their official statewide math assessment. The test is given March–May and measures proficiency in the Connecticut Core Standards for Mathematics (CT Core).
