About the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress — Grade 11 Math (CAASPP)

During January–June, California students participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress — Grade 11 Math (CAASPP), an assessment covering Algebra 1 skills required by the California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CA CCSS).

The Algebra 1 CAASPP tests students on foundations of algebra, linear equations & inequalities, introduction to functions, linear functions & graphing, systems of equations & inequalities, and more. Questions include multiple-choice, short-answer, and sometimes performance-based items.

Each practice test is modeled after the actual CAASPP — same topics, same types of questions, and the same level of challenge.

About CA CCSS Algebra 1 Standards
