About the Smarter Balanced Assessment — Grade 11 Math (SBAC)

The Smarter Balanced Assessment — Grade 11 Math (SBAC) is Nevada’s primary tool for measuring Algebra 1 proficiency. Taken during March–June, it assesses mastery of Nevada Academic Content Standards for Mathematics (NVACS) standards.

The Algebra 1 SBAC tests students on foundations of algebra, linear equations & inequalities, introduction to functions, linear functions & graphing, systems of equations & inequalities, and more. Questions include multiple-choice, short-answer, and sometimes performance-based items.

When your student takes our practice tests, they’ll experience the SBAC format firsthand — building familiarity and reducing test-day anxiety.
